Bach Flower Essences
rescue remedies for adults, infants, dogs, cats, horses and plants from Edward Bach in England.
Dr Bach re-discovered the gentle healing power of Flower Remedies in the 1930’s and is often known as the father of modern flower remedies.
His beautiful set of 38 remedies was created out of a true desire to help humanity to understand and heal these patterns A very good introduction to the general principles of Vibrational Medicine and the use of flower remedies in particular can be gained from studying the work and spiritual insights of Dr. Edward Bach.
Bach Flower Remedies - lasting healing
Dr. Bach recognized through his work with his patients, that to bring about real and lasting healing it was necessary to treat the cause of illness rather than just the symptoms. With a vision way-ahead of most of his contemporaries, he understood that the true cause of illness and disease in human beings lies in the personality - in the mental and emotional patterns through which we view ourselves and the world around us.
To treat these personality patterns he discovered and developed 38 different flower remedies which have today become known as the Bach Flower Remedies and which are widely known and used by many people around the world.
Each remedy is a correcting vibration for a state of mind or emotion that needs to be gently rebalanced. Since the body is a direct reflection of the mind, transforming negative vibrations into positive good vibrations allows the body to respond naturally with better health.
Why are the Bach Flower Remedies So Important?
One of the key understandings that Dr Bach gave humanity was of the interconnection of our Mind, Body and Soul. His simple and intuitive work showed us that by healing the emotional and mental aspects of ourselves which are out of balance, we can not only bring harmony to our mind and emotion, but also harmony to our physical self, and begin to reconnect consciously with our Soul or Higher Self. We are therefore consciously re-membering our Mind, Body & Spirit as one.
Dr Bach's 38 Bach Flower Remedies provides us with a lovely, simple and easy to use set of tools to help with this healing process.
Dosage of Bach Flower Remedies
Bach Flower Remedies can be taken by anyone, safely and without fear of side effects, overdosing or addiction. While they are not intended to replace medical treatment where necessary, they can be used in conjunction with, and to compliment, any other form of medicine.
Since flower remedies work on a higher vibrational frequency they will not interfere with other forms of treatment. Animals and plants will also benefit greatly. No harm comes from choosing the wrong remedy as it will cancel itself out if not needed.
Any of the Bach Flower Remedies can be combined to make an individual treatment bottle, maximum 6 or 7. To make a combination or single essence into a dosage bottle, put 2 drops of each essence into a clean glass dropper bottle containing up to 30ml of spring or spa water, adding a teaspoonful of brandy or cider vinegar as a preservative.
The only exception is Emergency Essence, which counts as only one essence, using 4 drops when diluting. Take 4 drops of this mixture at least 4 times daily until relief is obtained. The more frequently the drops are taken the sooner benefit is obtained.
The length of time taken to see a shift from negative to positive depends on many factors including the period of time one has remained in the negative state and the sensitivity of the person. Therefore adults should take their chosen selection for 6 to 8 weeks, (for long standing problems), and then review to see which essences have worked, or if any new states have appeared, which may have been underlying, and continue to treat these.
For relief from very recent or immediate negative states, put 2 drops of each essence in a drink and sip, or if liquid unavailable, 2 drops from the stock bottle straight onto the tongue and repeat as needed.
