Use of Aromatherapy Oils
Aromatherapy Oils with a Oilburner: Fill Burner bowl with hot water and ad 2-10 drops of essential oil.
Aromatherapy Oils to make your own Massage Oil: use 50ml of a good carrier-oil (e.g. Almond, Apricot Kernel, Sunflower) and ad 10%Wheatgerm oil (this works as an Preservative) ad up to15 drops of each of the essential oils you want to use.
Aromatherapy Oils for a Bath: always mix the essential oil with Honey or Milk before you add it to the water.
Aromatherapy Oils for a Compress: mix well with water, then soak the appropriate size material (handkerchief, towel) in it, than wring out and apply.
Aromatherapy Oils to take Internally: dissolve 1 tsp Honey in warm water, than add essential oil.
Aromatherapy Oils for Inhalation: a bowl with hot water, add a few drops of essential oil and put a big towel over your head while you carefully inhale the steam.
Aromatherapy Oils for an Enema: dissolve oil carefully in warm water than use the enema.
Aromatherapy Oils as Perfume: mix 10 ml Jojoba oil wit 15 drops of your favourite essential oil.
Aromatherapy Oils in the House: Put a few drops of aromatic oil on a piece of softwood and keep in your cupboards to help stop insects or put a few drops in the water you clean with.
Aromatherapy Oils in the Sauna: always mix oil with water first! than pour over hot stones.
Aromatherapy Oils in the Kitchen: essential oils can be used for Cooking. Mix the cooking oil with a few drops of essential oil and ad to your Sauces, Cakes etc.
Aromatherapy oils, when used correctly, offer valuable therapeutic care to people of all ages. However, there are guidelines to be respected, to ensure safe and effective application.
